Admin users can create, edit, and delete other users in the ClearPathGPS Portal. For instructions, see Managing Users.
Admins can also limit which vehicles a user sees by restricting their access to specific vehicle groups. To configure this:
Go to the User Admin page and open a user for editing.
Select the Role/Permissions tab.
Enable the Restrict Vehicle Group Access toggle.
Select the applicable vehicle group(s) from the dropdown menu.
A few things to keep in mind:
New users can see all tracked assets by default. The All group is a system default that cannot be edited and includes every tracker in your account.
You can authorize up to 10 groups per user. Groups must already exist and have assets assigned before they can be selected. To learn how to create and manage groups, see Vehicle Groups.
The "All Vehicles" option reflects the user's authorized groups only. When a user views the group map or group reports, "All Vehicles" displays all trackers across the groups they have access to — not every vehicle in the account.
Avoid assigning an Admin role to restricted users. Admin users can modify their own settings, including group access. If you're limiting a user's vehicle visibility, set their role to Manager or lower. For a full breakdown of roles, see User Roles.
