Overview
DriverID lets you create driver profiles in ClearPathGPS and associate them with vehicles. Once set up, driver information appears automatically on real-time and historical maps, the Virtual Timecard report, and ProPack Event Detail reports.
DriverID also enables driver-based reporting, including:
Event details by driver
Driver safety event reports
Driver behavior reports (speeding, hard braking, cornering, and more)
Expiring driver's license tracking
Vehicle assignment by driver

Creating and Editing Drivers
Go to Admin â Drivers.
Fob users: A list of fobs provided by ClearPathGPS will be displayed. The Driver ID number on each fob matches the ID in the system. Click a driver name to enter that driver's details.
Manual users: Click Create Driver in the top right corner, enter a driver name, and click Save. All additional fields are optional.
Assigning Drivers to Vehicles
Drivers can be assigned to vehicles using a key fob or manually through the portal.
Key fob assignment
Requires a hardwired tracker and a Driver ID Kit (fob reader and buzzer). When the vehicle starts, the buzzer sounds until the driver taps their fob to the reader. The assignment updates automatically in ClearPathGPS.
Manual assignment
If a Driver ID Kit is not installed, drivers can be assigned manually:
Go to Admin â Drivers.
Click the driver's name.
Select the vehicle from the Current Assigned Vehicle dropdown.
Click Save.
đ Note: If a Driver ID Kit is in use, fob assignments will override any manual assignments.
