Find a location on the dashboard where the wire from the tracker will reach the desired Driver ID reader location.

Place the reader away from the ignition key location – to prevent drivers from inadvertently shutting the ignition off while trying to scan the Driver ID.

Connect the two cables from the Driver ID reader to the tracker's wiring harness:

- Square four-pin connector
- Rectangular two-pin connector

Find the mating connectors on the tracker's harness and plug them in. They are keyed and will only connect "the right way." Be sure the small locking tab engages.
