PTO Installation
Installing:
The included wiring harness has one input (Yellow Wire). The yellow wire needs to be hooked to a pump circuit that is grounded when the pump is on and floats when the pump is off. If the circuit supplies 12 volts when the pump is on, a relay will need to be used to pull the circuit to ground (see Instructions for Relay Setup below).
Testing:
To view the PTO On/Off signals:
Log into the portal: https://portal.clearpathgps.com
Navigate to Reports → Vehicle Detail
Select the vehicle on the top left
Click "Get Report"
View the PTO On/Off signals in the list of events to ensure that Pump On events show when the pump is on, and Off events show when the pump is off. If these are backwards, see Instructions for Relay Setup below.
Labeling the PTO:
To label the PTO input, email [email protected] or call (805) 979-3442, Option 2, and the support team will adjust these. For example, 'Pump' can be changed to 'Winch / Lift Gate / Diesel / etc.' Example On/Off events:

Instructions for Relay Setup:
If the PTO sensor supplies +12 volts when PTO is engaged, you'll need an automotive relay (available from auto stores) to provide the required ground signal to the tracker when the PTO is on.
How the relay works:
The relay's solenoid is powered when the PTO is on. This completes the circuit to ground — which is the trigger the tracker needs to send the PTO On/Off signal.
Connect:
PTO output (which has +12 volts when PTO is engaged) to "COIL"
Chassis ground to the other "COIL"
Tracker's yellow wire to "N.O." (Normally Open)
Chassis ground wired to "COM"
