Release Notes - 3 New Asset Trackers!

This article announces the introduction of assets into the ClearPathGPS platform and three new asset tracking devices added to the ClearPathGPS hardware catalog.

🚀 What is Launching?

The asset tracker family is expanding, and ClearPathGPS is introducing a new way to put it to work.

Meet Assets, a simpler way to track equipment alongside your vehicles. Trailers, generators, light towers, and tool cribs appear on the same map as your trucks. With this feature addition, we are introducing three asset tracking devices: BeBatt, BeSol+, and BeMini. Once you attach an asset from the web or mobile app, it shows up on the map, fleet list, groups, and reports right next to your vehicles.

📡 Meet the Devices

🔋 BeBatt Asset Tracker
A battery-powered, low-power 5G tracker with a supercapacitor to help extend battery life.

  • IP69K rugged, dust-proof, and waterproof enclosure

  • Indoor location with Wi-Fi and BLE 5.2

  • Configurable motion and stationary reporting

  • Long battery life

☀️ BeSol+ Asset Tracker
A solar-powered, low-power 5G tracker.

  • IP68/IP69K rugged, dust-proof, and waterproof enclosure

  • Indoor location with Wi-Fi

  • Configurable motion and stationary reporting

  • Rechargeable, with a long battery life

📍 BeMini Asset Tracker
A rechargeable, palm-sized, low-power 5G tracker that can also report as a BLE beacon.

  • IP67 rugged, dust-proof, and waterproof enclosure

  • Indoor location with Wi-Fi and BLE 5.2

  • Configurable motion and stationary reporting

  • Rechargeable with the included micro-USB cable

📶 Using BeMini as a BLE Beacon: When a BeMini is near a BeSol+ device, it can report its location over Bluetooth. This helps you maintain visibility even in hard-to-track spots.

✨ Benefits

  • Know what's moving with what. Attached assets and their vehicles travel together on the map, so you can see which truck is carrying which trailer, generator, or tool crib at a glance.

  • Configure your own trackers. Set up how often your tracker checks in, so you can dial up frequency when you need it or extend battery life.

  • Get ahead of low batteries. Receive an alert when a tracker's battery runs low, so you can recharge or replace it before you lose visibility.

  • Keep your organization intact. Add assets to your existing vehicle groups.

  • Look back with confidence. Map History shows which assets were attached over time.
