To create a equipment profiles for your vehicles and trailers you will need to login into the Apollo ELD web portalhere.
On the left hand side, ensure you are selected on the Manage section (this is the first page you come to when you login), under the "Actions" section click on the Assets icon.
To add a new asset (driver or trailer) use the '+New' button in the top right hand corner of the table.
A window will open for you to enter in all of the information about the equipment.
You must have an equipment profile created for each vehicle that will be utilizing an ELD setup
The information requiredto create an equipment profile for a vehicle is as follows:
Asset Type - Whether the asset is a Tractor (vehicle) or Trailer
Asset Subtype - Options to categorize the asset type further, or 'None'
Number - Name or number of the vehicle (we advise that you make this match the names of your vehicles in the ClearPathGPS portal as much as possible)
VIN - The system will automatically look up the vehicle information on the right hand side using the VIN.
License Plate and Registration State
Home Base - If your company has multiple terminals and you have created multiple Home Bases you can select the base location of this asset, otherwise just select Home Terminal.
