Virtual Timecard Report
The Virtual Timecard report is a powerful resource for getting a summary of a vehicle's activity for the day. It can be found under the "Reports" section of the software and is the first report in the list under "Fleet Activity Reports". The report can be generated for either a single vehicle or a group of vehicles.
Each line of the report typically represents a trip that the vehicle took and shows start/stop times, time spent driving, miles driven, and time spent stopped with totals on the bottom:
The "Default" report lists separates the event by 'stops.' Please note that a 'stop' does not necessarily mean the ignition was turned off, for most devices a stop is registered if the vehicle is stationary for 90 seconds. If this time period is too short and your timecard is showing too many stops, you can run the report with different parameters by selecting the dropdown menu:
- For some devices a stop is registered prior to every ignition off.
- Please contact ClearPathGPS support for verification of stop reporting for your particular model of tracker at support@clearpathgps.com.
- The "Based on Ignition On/Off Status Codes" version of the virtual timecard summarizes each trip that a vehicle took between an "Ignition_On" and an "Ignition_Off" event. This could mean that the trip can show on this report even if the vehicle was not moved. (I.e. the vehicle's engine was just quickly cycled or it was turned on, left to idle and then turned off)
