Maintenance - FAQs
What happes to all the maintenance intervals I had setup previously?
All previous maintenance intervals and last performed records have been moved over into the Maintenance module as a Service Type of "Legacy Task".
What is a Legacy Task?
A Legacy Task is a maintenance interval that was created automatically upon the release of 3.7.0. These tasks were created based on the information that was associated with the vehicle prior to this release.
Can I edit a Legacy Task?
We recommend Converting legacy tasks into new Service Types to take full advantage of the new platform instead of editing. This is a one time conversion that allows you to select the Service Type of the Task that will then be "locked in" for that task.
Can I duplicate a task?
Not at this time but the ability to create duplicate tasks will be included in one of the releases shortly after 3.7.0.
Can I export or download a vehicle's historical maintenace?
Yes, either use the download icon in the top right of the tables to export a vehicle's maintenance or run the Completed maintenance report by vehicle.
Can I create task on the mobile app?
Not at this time.
Why do repeating tasks remain on my upcoming report?
Once you have completed a repeating task it remains on the upcoming table but with the new 'Last Performed'; in most cases it will move further down the table as it should be longer until it is due versus other tasks.
Can I edit the task service type?
No, for repeating this is intentional, it would disrupt the historical record.
Can I still use the Periodic Service Report?
This report is currently still available for viewing in the web portal but at some point will be deprecated from the platform.
Why can't I see a task that I just created?
The most likely reason you can't see a newly created task is that you have filters set on the maintenance table. Check that none of the columns have a filter selected and that nothing is entered in the search boxes.
